Fiber Resiliency

On top of ensuring superior fire, thermal and acoustic performance, your insulation ideally needs to be compressible, light and flexible to simplify transportation and storage. Generally, basalt and glass mineral wool can be highly compressed without losing its mechanical properties. A compressed insulation blanket and slab requires less storage space; right from the moment they’re packaged up till the point where they are delivered to the installation site. As a result of these advantages, the number of delivery miles can be reduced when more products can be loaded for each trip.
